This thread covers what I'm calling the "western states", which includes: CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, NM. I'm excluding HI and AK for two reasons - first, they aren't part of the contiguous United States. And second, those states' policies are already pretty clear - CCW is generally prohibited for everyone in HI without a resident HI permit (which is virtually impossible to get), and carry is generally allowed for everyone in AK who is a either an AK resident or possesses any valid permit from any state.

As a resident of CA:
If you have a CA permit, your CA permit would also allow you to carry in:
AZ, UT, MT, ID.
However, your CA permit is not valid in:
WA, OR, NV, WY, CO, NM.

If you have a CA permit and an AZ permit, your permits would allow you to carry in:
AZ, UT, MT, ID, NV, WY, NM.
However, your permits are not valid in:
WA, OR, CO.

If you have a CA permit and a UT permit, your permits would allow you to carry in:
AZ, UT, MT, ID, NV, WY, WA.
However, your permits are not valid in:
NM, OR, CO.

If you have a CA permit, an AZ permit, and a UT permit, your permits would allow you to carry in:
AZ, UT, MT, ID, NV, WY, WA, NM.
However, your permits are not valid in:
OR, CO.

Notes:
OR and CO do not recognize permits issued by a non-resident state, and they do not recognize CA permits at all. As a CA resident, to carry in OR or CO you would need to get a permit from those states, which they do not typically issue to non-residents who do not have business or property in those those states. However, both states do allow open carry to some extent, check the respective state's laws beforehand.

As a resident of any state other than CA:
You are not eligible for a CA permit, and no other states' permits are recognized by CA.

This thread is a work in progress, feel free to post any additional information you feel this list should include! Ultimately, I'll include specific info for residents of the other states.
